Little Fish

Little Fish is a band that gets closer to the the fans, the root of the story and of the song, as comfortable playing house parties as they are the Royal Albert Hall.

    Die Young (lyrics)

Realising as a teen that we live alone and all that we have is ourselves as companion, I imagined taking my life so many times – there was no need to cry, I wasn’t a baby anymore. I imagined seeing my shadow on a cliff as my body fell. We have yet to know when time stops and how much time we have to go.

    Die Young

    I am the sun
    I borrow your name
    Got off my motorbike
    Walked to the dust
    Through the desert plain

    When I first came here
    There was a black hole
    Now there’s an ocean
    I am floating doll

    Whistle in vain
    I whistle alone
Wish I could have loved you
    My flesh and bone
    We’re all born to die
    We live alone
    Fetch me a pistol
    And get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Let me die young

    I am the wind
    Undress my skin
    You keep me dancing still
    My shadows on a cliff
    And I’ve already fallen in

    When I first came here
    There was a black hole
    Now there’s an ocean
    I am floating doll

    I’m helpless
    I’m helpless

    Whistle in vain…

    Tomorrow’s horizon
    S’gonna come and visit me
    To announce
To announce its promises of hate
I hate it when its words aren’t for me

    Whistle in vain…

    Whistle in vain
    I whistle alone
I wish I could have loved you
    My flesh and bone
    We’re all born to die
    We live alone
    Fetch me a pistol
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
    Get me a gun
