Little Fish

Little Fish is a band that gets closer to the the fans, the root of the story and of the song, as comfortable playing house parties as they are the Royal Albert Hall.

    Sorry State (lyrics)

This is the last song on the album and the last song that I wrote whilst recording it all in LA. The heart is a small hand of agonies. Sometimes and some days we want to rest from our sorry state and let the tears fall peacefully.

    Juju

    Sorry State

    I sing
    My sorry name
Is there nothing left to say?
    My tomorrow
    It has gone missing now
And the clock on the wall
    It is my witness
Keep hold of the simple things

    Why does misery like company?
    You’re such a sorry state
Throw your anchor out at me

    Why does…

    I chose
    To forget the day
    And everyday feels
    Just like a Monday
    I switchin’ off the stars
    With my dreams of people
    They keep judging me
    My worth
    My empty stare
    No I’m not free.

    Why does…

    I’m dyed black
    I’m on the ocean
    And no-one sets me free
    I been waiting for days
    For you to find me
    Come, follow me

    Why does…

    I don’t know?
    Why you’re unknown?

    Why does misery like company?
    You’re such a sorry state
Throw your anchor out to sea
