Maybe they forgot.

Sophie sent us an email about the Handbook yesterday morning:

Why hasn’t everyone on the Little Fish mailing list pledged?? Maybe they forgot, or lots of people assumed everyone else would pledge so it wouldn’t matter if they never got round to it.. I don’t know. But it’s annoying me. So it must be annoying you. But I don’t know what to do. I have tweeted about it constantly and have picked one person up who used an Unbound voucher they were given at Hay festival to pledge their support, but I think that’s it. Nothing I say seems to prompt people to take any action, or notice…

Strangely enough, we’re the fastest-selling book on the Unbound site (I think). We’re over 50% funded and we still have 26 days to go. So we’ll almost certainly make it. But that’s not to say you shouldn’t pledge if you haven’t.

In case it helps to persuade you, I’m uploading two more exclusive unreleased studio demos into the “author’s shed” today. Overall there will be about seven. So for a tenner you could get access to almost an album’s worth of unreleased material as well as the book, and you’ll be supporting a good creative cause…

But don’t panic. We’re going to make it. ;)
