Umbilical Cord - Little Fish (by David Callier)
Ben and I played a very hyper (in case you don’t know, we came home from our gig at the Drawing Room with a new coffee machine!) version of The Umbilical Chord at George’s Jamboree the other night.
The Jamboree for those of you who have never been or experienced it can only be described as an ‘experimental-folk-advant-garde-crazy-night ‘hot pot’ where all kinds of comedians, poets, authors and singers come to perform. The night is hosted by the wonderfully talented poet and compère George Chopping. It is held on the first Monday of every month, usually at The Chester Arms in Oxford, but next month will be held at The Jam Factory (where I think my mum has even been invited to come along and sing some French songs!)…
Well, you get the picture. This little video was filmed by David Callier. You can follow him (@sledgecallier on Twitter) and find out more on his blog.
