After a quiet week in the French countryside, it’s back to work with a bang here at Fish HQ. And we have some exciting gigs coming up…
Bob Harris has invited us to play the Old Grey Whistle Test stage at retroculturefest Generation Expo. We’ll be playing at 6pm on Saturday 8th October, supporting Squeeze! It’s £12 to get in, but you can get in for £6 if you print this flyer and take it with you… Just click the picture to open a PDF that you can easily print:
Next Monday is the launch gig for Wonderful at the Barfly in Camden. We’re super-excited about having our friends Black Casino & the Ghost and George Chopping (and maybe even someone else if we have time!) supporting, and we’re going to make it an awesome gig.
Needless to say we would love you all to come, and if you want to bring a hundred friends we won’t stop you. ;)

We’re going East! The Little Fish Global World Tour of Singapore is confirmed for November. The dates are on our gigs page, and there are more details on the Timbre Music site.

Once I get into the upper room of Barfly I realize straight away that tonight is going to be dangerously fun. I manage to sneak in up to standing in front of the band and feels like having a ringside seat on the brink of hell. I see this girl tottering on the top of the speaker … she jumps around like she’s possessed, waving her guitar like she’s trying to strike its neck on your face; then she sings the first note, and I start daydreaming of the PJ Harvey of Good Fortune.
